	and Lipeurus caponis) infesting poultry birds were subjected to SEM study, in order to investigate the role of egg morphology in&lt;br /&gt;
	the identification of species. The eggs of three mallophagan species exhibited remarkable differences in the nature of chorionic&lt;br /&gt;
	sculpturing, shape of operculum and the number of micropyles on opercular disc.&lt;/p&gt;
