The species composition of Anoplura, the indices of occurrence, infestation and the abundance of Anoplura on the Insectivora and Rodentia were analyzed. There have been noted repeated cases of Anoplura parasitizing the mammals unusual for them, which reflects interspecific contacts of small mammals. The features of the biotopic confinement of the parasite were considered.</jats></p>
