Kristofik and Lysy (1992) noted that while Hoplopleura longula is a specialized ectoparasite of Micromys minutus, they also found it on the vole Clethrionomys glareolus. [ex. Durden, L. A., Musser, G. G. 1994. Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History 218: 1-90]
