| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to describe the occurence of Colpocephalum maculatum in two spe-cies of falconiformes birds, the Roadside Hawk (Rupornis magnirostris) and in the Crested Caracara (Polyborus plancus). This relate is the first report in the literature of this lice in the Roadside Hawk and the first time in the Crested Caracara in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. |
