| Abstract: | Four species of Geomydoecus from pocket gopher subspecies of the species Orthogeomys (Orthogeomys) grandis (Thomas) are described and illustrated: G. ionesi Price and Emerson (type host: O. g. felipensis Nelson and Goldman), G. alleni Price and Emerson (type host: O. g. alleni Nelson and Goldman), G. chiapensis Price and Emerson (type host:O. g. grandis), and the new species G. pygucunthi (type host: O. g. pygucanthus Dickey). A key is provided for the identification of these four species. |
