| Abstract: | Based on the identification of more that 2300 adult lice from over 225 individual pocket gophers, distributions are given for the 10 currently recognised species of Geomydoecus found amound 96 subspecies of Thomys bottae and T. umbrinus. The occurance of 9 combinations of 2 sympatric Geomydoecus species was observed on a total of 47 host individuals. |
