| Abstract: | The new species Hoplopleura chelemydis was descriled based on specimens collected on Chelemys macronyx vestitus (Thomas, 1903 ) from Rio Pucara, Lago Lacar, Neuquen province, Argentina. Descriptions involve male and female features, the three nymphal instar, external architecture of the egg and sites of oviposition, providing differences with its close relative H. ingens Castro, 1982 and H. neotomydis Castro et al., 1995. |
