A new species of Haematomyzus (Mallophaga: Haematomyzidae) off the bush pig, Potamochoerus porcus, from Ethiopia, with comments on lice found on pigs

Abstract:

A new species, Haematomyzus porci, is described and illustrated for specimens taken off the bush pig, Potomochoerus porcus, in Ethiopia; this represnts the third species described in this genus. The know data of eight species of lice found on pigs are also summerised.
