| Abstract: | Forms of Pedicinus (Insecta, Phthiraptera, Anoplura) off rare Colobus monkeys (Mammalia, Primates, Colobinae) from Vietnam. Three forms of Pedicinus (Pedicinidae) collected off 5 species of Old World monkeys (4 spp. Colobinae, 1 sp. Pongidae) are described and illustrated. These are P. (Neopedicinus) ancoratus tongkinensis n. spp. ex Pygathrix n. nemaeus (and stragglers on Hylobates leucogenys spp.), P. (Parapedicinus) nadleri n. sp. ex Trachypithecus delacouri and one unidentified subspecies of P. (Parapedicinus) obtusus (perhaps a straggler) on Trachypithecus phayrei and T. francoisi hatinhensis. Colour pictures of all five hosts are added. |
