| Abstract: | The population indices show constant relation with the rise or fall in temperature, during summer and winter months. Lice index (monthly meadbird) increased from February-March correspond- ing the gradual increase in tern erature. The peak index is obtained in May-June when there is a sharp increase in temperature. h e lower index is seen from September-February, corresponding with the decline in temperature and increase in relative humidity. |
