Abstract:

To the taxomony of Docophorulus species (Insceta, Phthiraptera, Philopteridae) parasitising tits (Paridae). Only three species of Docophorulus from tits have been described. They belong to the pallescens - species group newly established here. To it D. h. hercynicus n. sp., ex Parus c. caeruleus and D. hercynicus peripariphilus peripariphilusn. sp. ex Parus a. aterare orded. Further, D. thuringiacus n. sp. ex Parus m. major is described and illustrated. Besides D. thuringiacus ssp. ex Parus cristatus it represent an other [sic] species group. It hasn't been surely realised yet whether there also is the North American D. rutteri in Europe on Parus montanus ssp.
