Psittacomenopon gulielmi (type-host : Poicephalus gulielnii massaicus ) is described as new .New synonymies include Psittacomenopon heterocephalum ( Nitzsch) (= Menopon acuticeps Piaget ) and P. impar (Piaget ) (= Colpocephalum pachypus Piaget , Menopon impar var. poicephalus Bedford, and P. africapon Eichler). |
