Abstract:

This report consists of five parta. Part I summariNs reoorts of the banding activities of 12 grantee institutions in 9 countries. Part II discusses the results of banding activities testing records for 893 species. Part III presents data concerning 1,200 recoveries of 140 SDecies, Kb of which crossed international boundaries. Maps of bird movements are given. Part IV summaries the ectoparasite identifications for the families turdidae, Pycnonotidae and timaliidae. Over 200 species of ectoparasites have been identified from 690 species of birds. Part V summaries of 20,000 blood films from 719 srecies of birds. Here samples arel arge enough infection rates for a given Speoies in several georaphical areas are given.
