| Abstract: | Nineteen species of intestinal helminths and 15 species of arthropod ectoparasites (fleas, ticks, botflies, chewing lice and mites) are reported from dogs, cats, fowls, turkeys, pigs and horses in south-eastern Wisconsin. Most are first records for the state. Data on the frequency and intensity of infestation are discussed in relation to results from similar surveys elsewhere PhthiFrom 74 dogs, 23 cats, 26 chickens, 41 turkeys, 5 pigs and 14 horses examined 5 species of cestodes and 13 of nematodes were recovered. The prevalence and intensity of infection are tabulated |
