Evidencia parasitológica sobre la fdogenia de los homínidos y los cébidos

Una revisión sistemática de los ectoparásitos piojos de los hominoideos y los ceboideos apoya a la hipótesis filogenética "Troglodita" de los primates, según la cual Horno es el grupo hermano de Pan y Gorilla el grupo hermano de ambos. El análisis filogénetico de la matriz obtenida con los piojos de los primates muestra un C.I. = 0.71, para la hipótesis troglodita, incluyendo en el análisis a los ceboideos.
