Ecological relationships
Host of Hoplopleura erratica
Relation notes:
The type was reported to be taken from a gull in Iowa, but this type host is evidently in error. The host is clearly Tamias striatus (Ferris 1951). The type repository is not known. [ex. Kim, K. C., Pratt, H. D., Stojanovich, C. J. 1986. The Sucking Lice
Host of Enderleinellus tamiasis
Relation notes:
The type host may have been misidentified as T. striatus, a North American species which is morphologically similar to the Eurasian T. sibiricus. [ex. Durden, L. A., Musser, G. G. 1994. Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History 218: 1-90]
